Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a passionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to support the Dental Clinic at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane, Washington.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree from a CODA-accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted Dental Hygienist license
- Certification in radiography
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Clinical competency meeting service-specific credentialing standards
- Strong communication and patient education skills
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform comprehensive oral examinations of the mouth, throat, and pharynx
- Identify abnormalities and refer patients to the dentist as needed
- Provide prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance
- Apply desensitizing agents, fluoride treatments, and sealants
- Educate patients individually and in groups on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Demonstrate brushing, flossing, and periodontal care methods
- Take impressions and fabricate sports guards and bleaching trays
- Polish restorations and apply pit and fissure sealants
- Provide chairside assistance when needed
- Maintain, clean, sharpen, and sterilize instruments
- Document care and manage patient scheduling using the Corporate Dental Application
