About the Company

We are a small, private General Dentistry practice in Northeast Austin seeking a dedicated, full-time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our close-knit team. Our practice is focused on building and maintaining long-term relationships with our patients, many of whom have been with us for several decades. Our team consists of 1 dentist, 1 hygieniest, and 3 additional staff members, and we utilize Open Dental, Dentrix, and Primescan scanning.

Responsibilities

Key clinical and administrative duties include:

• Providing efficient chairside four-handed dentistry for procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, clear aligners, implants, endodontics, and oral surgery
• Capturing high-quality digital x-rays and intraoral scans using Primescan technology
• Managing instrument sterilization, infection control protocols, and operatory setup/breakdown
• Maintaining accurate clinical charting and patient records within Open Dental and Dentrix
• Preparing patients for treatment and delivering clear post-operative instructions

Requirements

Our ideal candidate is someone organized, personable, and detail-oriented with at least 2 or 3 years of chairside assisting experience.

• Licensure: Active Texas RDA certificate
• Certifications: Active BLS/CPR certificate
• Experience: 2-3 years of chairside assisting experience (preferred)
• Skills: Strong communication, detail-oriented, and organized

Compensation & Benefits

We offer competitive compensation based on experience, along with a supportive work environment. Qualified candidates will be contacted for an initial phone screening followed by an in-person interview.

• Pay Range: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour (Hourly, based on experience)
