Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay: $45 - $70 per hour, based on experience
- Performance bonuses, and by working two chairs with an assistant, bonuses are quite significant

Schedule
This is typically a Monday through Thursday position (4 days per week), giving you a consistent schedule with great work-life balance. Once a month, there will be a shift week where the office is closed on a Monday and open on that Friday in order to provide a long weekend for employees. You will be able to work out of two chairs with a dedicated hygiene assistant.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental cleanings, scaling and root planing (SRP), and periodontal maintenance
- Conduct thorough oral health assessments and periodontal screenings
- Take and interpret high-quality digital x-rays (radiographs)
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver an outstanding patient experience
- Utilize Open Dental for patient records and digital imaging
- Manage patient care within dedicated 40-90 minute appointments depending on the appointment type.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
- Minimum 1 year of clinical hygiene experience
- Active CPR/BLS certification
- Active Local Anesthesia certification (highly recommended)
- Current Continuing Education (CE) credits in good standing
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care

We are Private dental practice located in southwest New Mexico near the Gila National Forest. We have a dedicated team of nine employees, with one dentist, three doctor assistants, one dedicated hygiene assistant, two front desk, and one office manager.
