About the role
Overview
We are a Private dental practice located in Scottsdale , operating with 2 dentists, 3 hygienists and 5 support staff. Join a friendly, patient-centered dental practice that values a positive work environment and invests in state-of-the-art technology. This is a fantastic part-time opportunity — perfect for an experienced dental professional currently pursuing further education or a retired full-time assistant looking to stay active in the field.
Schedule
- Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
- Hours: 6:40 AM – 3:00 PM
- 3 days per week
Responsibilities
- Providing chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Taking digital and traditional impressions
- Capturing and processing dental X-rays
- Performing sterilization and infection control duties
- Assisting with composite and amalgam procedures
- Supporting patient care coordination for a smooth, positive patient experience
Requirements
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience
- DANB X-ray Certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative, upbeat environment
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care
- Active required
- Xray certification a must highly preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $20 – $23 per hour, based on experience
