Overview

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a dedicated civilian General Dentist (DDS / DMD) to join our team at Naval Station Great Lakes in Waukegan, Illinois (located on the scenic North Shore of Chicago). In this rewarding role, you will provide comprehensive general dentistry care—including restorative treatments, fillings and exams—to military service members in a modern, collaborative clinic environment equipped with digital radiography and electronic health records. Note: Because this is a federal installation, an active license from ANY U.S. state or territory is accepted!

Compensation & Benefits

This contract position offers:

• Monday through Friday 7am-3:30pm
• 1099 contract, long term contract with annual renewals
• No evening, weekend or holiday responsibilities
• General Dentistry clinic with support from dental hygienists and dental assistants
• Competitive salary range $90-$95 per hour

Requirements

• A doctorate in dentistry (DDS or DMD) from an accredited dental school approved by the Council on Dental Education of the ADA. Must have at least 12 months of clinical experience within the preceding 36 months (newly graduated dentists will also be considered).
• Have successfully completed at least 12 classroom hours of continuing dental education (CDE) to maintain skills and knowledge as a General Dentist within the preceding 24 months.
• Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice dentistry in any one of the fifty States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
• Certifications: Must possess an active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
