Job description:

Duties Skills Required to Make a Great “Impression” on Our Team

Provide assistance to surgeons during procedures including preparation and documentation Provides excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to Doctor which includes but not limited to: charting and operatory set-up and clean-up Take dental radiographs/x-rays as well as cone beam 3D scans Assist with Sedation Processes -prepare patients for treatment by talking them through the procedure Monitor Patient Vital Statistics -monitor patient vital statistics and intravenous fluids during surgery and notify the surgeon about an issue as soon as it occurs. Provide Post-Operation Advice- After surgery, oral surgery assistants provide patients with follow-up instructions and postoperative care tips Ability to take impressions and pour up plaster diagnostics models DANCE, OMAAP, or other Anesthesia/Sedation monitoring certification required The individual in this position must be flexible and able to work well as a member of a team.
