Requirements
- Schedule: Part-time, days negotiable (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Licensure: Active New Jersey State Dental Hygienist License (RDH)
- Clinical Skills: Strong attention to detail with a focus on comprehensive patient care
- Patient Relations: Outgoing, positive attitude with a passion for working with patients of all ages, including children
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including removing tartar, stains, and plaque from teeth
- Apply preventative treatments such as sealants and fluorides to protect patient dentition
- Assess patients' oral health, conduct periodontal charting, and report clinical findings to the dentist
- Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene techniques, including proper brushing and flossing habits
